The ECC Men’s Baseball team exploded in the first round of Division III Region 4 championships on Friday May 4. The Spartan batters pounded Milwaukee Area Tech by a score of 13-5. The second game, which propelled ECC into round two of the tournament, started slowly with Milwaukee building a 7-0 lead before the Spartan bats exploded with 13 runs in the fifth inning. The game final was 25-9.
The Spartans will start the second round on Friday, May 11 where they will face Rock Valley College. Rock Valley advanced to the second round by defeating College of DuPage by scores of 8-7 and 7-3.
