I have been at Elgin Community College since 2015, in 2017 I graduated with an Associate’s in Science. I returned to school to pursue a degree in Graphic Design and I’m currently working on the Associate’s in applied Science for Communication Design – Graphic Design. I chose to join The Observer because I want to gain the skills and knowledge to work with print design. Creating Graphic Design for a newspaper is a different challenge from what I am accustomed to, therefore I find this a great opportunity to grow my skills and learn more of this department of communication.
