We are currently looking for help in the following areas: translator, photography, videographer, graphic design, podcasts, writers, and marketing/advertising.
We have two ways that students can participate. Students can join the staff and enroll in a 1 credit, but $0 tuition course, JRN 134-100 Newspaper Workshop. The course meets on MW from 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. in our Student Life office. In the class, students receive journalistic training and create the content for the publication during the class.
The other option is to join as a member. We have levels of membership, and we can provide more information on each level, if you are interested in learning more.
We also recommend that students take JRN 131 Fundamentals of Journalism if you have never participated in a news publication and/or if you are interested in pursing journalism as a career. Students can enroll in JRN 134 and JRN 131 at the same time.
