Earlier this year, the Chicago Bears announced plans to possibly relocate its stadium. One of the proposed locations, Arlington Heights, is closer to the ECC community.
However, Bears president Kevin Warren has noted that Chicago is its preferred location.
Currently, the stadium is located at Soldier Field in Chicago. The other location possibility is to remain in its current lakefront location.
The team owns over 300 acres in Arlington Heights, according to a team press release.
ECC student were asked to give their opinion on the proposed move.
The first student that we’re featuring is third year student Yakov Galvez. He gave his opinion on the Bears new stadium. According to him, he said “I want them to go to Arlington Heights because the bears would perform very well in their sport and just make them more popular in that area.”
The second student that we’re featuring is 1st year student, Zachery Kisly. He gave his opinion on the Bears new stadium situation which is “I think they definitely need a new stadium. Their current plan for the new stadium looks pretty good which is believed right by where the current stadium is. At the moment, I think it’s fine where they are playing.”
The third student that we’re interviewing is second year student Anthony Rios. He gave his thoughts about the Bears new stadium. According to him, he said “I would say my best pick will be Arlington Heights. Even though their old stadium is worn down, they might be next to it.”
