This is Acheatel’s third year at ECC. She fulfilled the requirements for her AA in the summer of 2024. Acheatel is figuring out her next steps in life and experimenting with her interests. It’s her reason for newly joining the Observer staff. She hopes to learn all she can and apply those skills to whatever path she takes. Through her time with the Observer, Acheatel plans to cover classism, gender roles, and the relationship between pop culture and societal conditions. Inspired by Wayne Gretzky, her personal motto is “You miss all of the shots you don’t take.”
