This is Vega’s first year at Elgin Community College pursuing an associates in arts and majoring in journalism. This is his first year on the Observer staff. Vega joined the Observer in hopes of explaining undiscovered stories while being rational and fair. He is interested in covering content based upon pop culture, trending topics, and history. Vega hopes to take stories with multiple layers and point of views and write them in an easy-to-read manner, so his peers can become more informed and knowledgeable. His personal motto is to always stay true to yourself.
