This is Oswald’s fourth year at ECC pursuing an associate in science. He is brand-new to the Observer staff and is excited to get started. Oswald joined because he wanted to bring a more scientific and unrhetorical style of writing to the newsstands of ECC, to ensure that the news that is impacting its students and the surrounding community can be reported on objectively and in an informative way. He will also cover sports and science news. Oswald has high hopes to take his journalistic skills to the next level, while also producing material that will help students on campus and across Elgin feel more connected and more informed. His favorite quote is, “We must walk on in the days ahead with an audacious faith in the future” – Martin Luther King Jr.
