This is DuFresne’s second year at ECC pursuing her Recovery Support Specialist Certification. This is her first year at the Observer. DuFresne joined the Observer to quell her long-held intrigue of the journalism field. She is interested in covering topics relating to mental health issues and social causes. As a Certified RSS, being an advocate for those who are marginalized in society is essential, and writing for the Observer is a great platform to advocate for those in need. DuFresne’s personal motto is a quote from Shakespeare, “The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.”
