Im grateful that we get these events every once and a while, said first-year student Brianne Forrest. She worked alongside first-year student Tatiana Scheeler on their gingerbread reindeer and sleigh.

Meet Cody, a 5 year old Cairn Terrier looking to receive a treat from a student. Cody is a therapy dog that attended the event alongside Loni Ryan from Anderson Humane.

Comfort dogs from Anderson Humane were also present at this event. Students were seen petting and asking for pictures of the comfort dog.

ECCs Wellness Services gave out resources for students interested along with bubbles and other sensory items while ECCs Student Life was handing out a variety of gingerbread houses for students to build and take home.

‎

Students waiting in line for free coffee from Dapper Brews Coffee, a traveling coffee shop. They provided different types of sweeteners along with three different types of drinks during the event.

ECCs Office of Student Life sponsored a Stress free zone for ECC students on Wednesday, Dec.7 in the Jobe Lounge.

‎

ECC clubs participated in the International Street Fair by representing different cultures on Thursday, Nov. 17 in the Jobe Lounge. The proceeds from this ECC event went to the Ukraine Relief Fund.

ECC student Hannah Garcia, member of ECCs Asian Filipino Club, brought in figurines that are relevant to her familys culture. This particular figurine was used by her father when he lived in the Philippines.

Davina Mahakhouanvong, a nursing student and member of the Associated Nursing Students Club at ECC, wraps a string of yarn around the wrist of an ECC student. This Laos tradition is believed to send blessings and positive vibes to the person with the bracelet.

Members of ECCs Anime Club represent Japan with trinkets, festivities, and culturally-appropriate food.

‎

ECCs Organization of Latin American Students represent Mexico and even include a board with information on Mexican culture.

‎

The Black Student Achievers club at ECC represented Jamica and provided information on Jamaican culture for the International Street Fair.

‎

The Student Government at ECC prepared Italian cuisine and decor to represent Italian lineage for the International Street Fair.

Henna artist Denise Lazzara paints henna on dual-credit student and Vice President of ECCs Phi Theta Kappa, Kelly Stoffle. Henna is known to be a part of Indian culture and is worn culturally, but as it has popularized, it is often utilized in the fashion world.
