ECC’s Office of Student Life sponsored a Stress free zone for ECC students on Wednesday, Dec.7 in the Jobe Lounge.

ECC’s Wellness Services gave out resources for students interested along with bubbles and other sensory items while ECC’s Student Life was handing out a variety of gingerbread houses for students to build and take home.

Comfort dogs from Anderson Humane were also present at this event. Students were seen petting and asking for pictures of the comfort dog.

Meet Cody, a 5 year old Cairn Terrier looking to receive a treat from a student. Cody is a therapy dog that attended the event alongside Loni Ryan from Anderson Humane.

Students waiting in line for free coffee from Dapper Brews Coffee, a traveling coffee shop. They provided different types of sweeteners along with three different types of drinks during the event.

“I’m grateful that we get these events every once and a while,” said first-year student Brianne Forrest. She worked alongside first-year student Tatiana Scheeler on their gingerbread reindeer and sleigh.
