This is Solis’ final year at ECC pursuing an Associate in Arts with a focus on videography. It is her first year serving on The Observer. Solis joined because she was interested in utilizing her photography and videography skills to capture moments that amplify the voices of minorities. Journalism is a new field that she has yet to explore, she hopes to continue to grow as a storyteller. Her personal motto is, “do it scared.”
